Maureen S. McFadden

Personal Profile

Ms. McFadden joined the Law Offices of Jack Riordan in 2004 and became a Principal at Riordan Sykes McFadden, P.C.  in 2015.  Ms. McFadden is a thorough and relaxed attorney known for her communication skills and hands-on approach to client relations.

Maureen is a member of the Trusts & Estates section of the California Bar and the Bar Association of San Francisco.  Maureen has been a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law with the California Board of Legal Specialization since 2013.

Prior to joining the firm, Maureen practiced insurance defense at Jackson & Wallace, LLP in San Francisco and securities law at Nortman, Bloom & Warfman, in Miami, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University, her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, and her LL.M in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law.

Maureen serves on the Boards of the Hibernian Newman Club, St. Brendan’s Parish School, and the Ignatian Guild at St. Ignatius College Preparatory.  She also volunteers her time with education seminars in will and estate planning at the Irish Immigration Pastoral Center and the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

A native New Yorker, Maureen now lives in San Francisco with her husband and children.
